Time: Every Friday from 18:00 to 19:00 UTC.
Objective: Alexander Ronzhin, RV3BZ and his friends
have the honour to invite the radio amateurs all over the world to
participate in the Friday Night SSTV QSO Party. The objective of
the party is to establish as many contacts as possible between radio
amateurs around the world by using the SSTV B/W 8 baudot mode only.
Everybody can work everybody for QSO and multiplier credit.
Frequencies: Participants are allowed to work on 80 meters
only (3730 + 10 KHz).
Type of Competition: Only the entrant’s callsign can be used
to aid the entrant’s score. There are 6 rounds during the
competition. Length of each round is 10 minutes: 18:00 - 18:10,
18:10 - 18:20, 18:20 - 18:30, 18:30 - 18:40, 18:40 - 18:50 and 18:50
- 19:00 UTC. Any participant may work the same station in different
rounds. All entrants are allowed to use packet and web clusters.
Categories: There is only one Single Operator category in the
competition for individual stations only. Those stations at which
one performs all of the operating, logging, and spotting functions.
Only one signal is allowed at any one time. The output power is not
critical.
Number Exchange: All stations should send signal report (RST)
plus QSO number, starting 001.
Points: Any one contact is worth 1 point.
Multiplier: Any new callsign is a multiplier.
Scoring: Scoring is the same for all stations. The final
score is the result of the total QSO points multiplied by the sum of
worked callsigns (multipliers).
Log Instructions: All times must be in UTC or MSK. All sent
and received exchanges are to be logged. The Contest Manager accepts
logs in the Cabrillo format. Name your Cabrillo file as your
callsign (for example – rv3bz.cbr). You should send your log via
e-mail to rusminitest@qrz.ru. Be sure to put the station callsign in the
«Subject» line of the message. Your software may automatically
encode your log as an attachment. All entries must be sent within 24
hours after the competition.
Software: You can use any SSTV software which creates
Cabrillo logs. Contest Manager recommends to use
MixW
